Hi, First of all, has anybody modified a rangey dash,so you can just remove the middle and left parts of the dash, of a right hand drive car,to access the heater unit,instead of having to remove the whole instrument binnacle,and all the dash? Surely somebody must have done this before.The heater unit is £100 and the labour is approx £300/400! [Quote is from a Landy repair shop in Holyhead].
Is there anybody in Counties Louth,Meath,Cavan,Kildare,Roscommon or Dublin, or anywhere else in the Republic for that matter,who would be interested in forming a Landrover club,where the members actually get their hands dirty, and welcome new faces?

i managed to change mine once without taking off the speedo binnacle. it was a total pain and took me 8hrs to change the heater and put it all back together.
