So I splashed out £10 for a classic boot liner for my car and guess what it doesn't fit, not nearly.
Mine is a soft dash but I didn't think the boot back area was any different. The P38 ones I have seen are a different shape too.
So question is, is there an option for me or do I carve up the one I seem to have?

I know a guy at work how had a rigid boot liner that did not fit his 4 door classic (early non soft dash) so he thought it was for a P38, until I told him it was knowhere near the right shape. It was about 10" deep, rectangular with smaller rectangle shape on rh side, embossed with RANGE ROVER in big letters on back wall. Might this shape fit yours?

That sounds like what I have. It's about 4'x3' and 10+ " high.
It clearly is for this vehicle but I seem to have more "stuff" at the sides than whatever it was designed for. On reflection it has cut outs for the rear wheel arches but mine are hidden behind the covers for the sub one side and the spare wheel to other.
Its a good 8" to wide.
The P38 shell is different so I don't think that'll work.
So unless there is another design for later classics I'm stuffed!

it must be for the earlier boot sides and parcel shelf from the 4 door. the ones with just carpet haning one side and no sub
