Hi,

the great thing about LRs is that not all people, but certainly all kinds of people love them. I just read a slightly contemptful remark somewhere about urban people thinking they're old famer folk because they bought a brand-new, shiny Freelander. So I wondered what are actually the stereotypical models, colours and ages of cars for which stereotpye? In no particular order, for example:

1. urban professional married couple with a cottage in Surrey

2. Yorkshire farmer with a medium-sized farm

3. 7th Baron Something with a slightly run-down country house

4. posh London solicitor

5. ...

Really sorry I didn't introduce myself, I probably deserved you comments above. :)

I'm 24, male, live with my girlfriend in a larger city, and work in a boring company that sells solar collectors. I don't have a car at the moment, but I always liked Land Rovers. Not sure if I'll ever buy one because I don't really need it.

Again, really sorry. I just thought the topic is fun, as long as it's not taken too seriously.

5......14, Gay, pretend to mummy I have girlfriend in a larger city, want to sell solar collectors. I don't have a car at the moment cos I can't drive but I always liked Land Rovers cos they are so butch. Not sure if I'll ever buy one because I am a cock,

I just realised you might have understood the list above to be a list of typical Land Rover drivers. That's not what I meant, of course. I know perfectly well that "typical" drivers don't exist, and anyway, most aren't any of the numbers 1 to 4 I wrote.

I was serious. I never meant to imply all owners were of one of those stereotypes. Be fair at least.

Do some people really stumble on this site then post without spending some time reading a few posts?

What's the biggest tyre I can fit to a solar collector seller?
Have a good lurk then decide if this might fit in the "anything goes" section.

what are the biggest tyres I can put on my jeep ?

OOoooo, OOoooo I know, I know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, BIG ones:D, they must be round as well, I bought some square ones, they are rare and more expensive but don't do you M.P.G. any favours. What sort of JEEP has you got then, is it a shiny one???? ;);););););)
