I've had my 59 plate tdci for a few weeks now and I'm chuffed to bits with it, the only annoying problem is with the ride quality, I know people are going to say it's a land rover but I don't remember my g Reg 90 being this choppy when I first had it. For example I had to mount a curb last week and it felt like the whole front end jumped up in the air and bounced onto the top a few times rather than just rolled up (first gear no clutch, virtually snails pace) and if you hit a bumpy section of road it's like a pogo stick!
It has standard 235/85 tires, is it possible that these will affect the quality that much? I'm going to fit 265/75 in the near future, will this make it better? Or should I look at shock upgrades as I hear the new defender ones are supposed to be poo!
Thanks! :)

Is yours a 90 or a 110?
My 09 110 Utility Wagon is a little firm when unladen but pretty good once loaded up.

It's a 90 mate, what sort of pressure should they be? I haven't checked them from what they set in the garage it came from

The old G reg defender was like an old pair of tits, slight sag on one side, feel good in the dark and very comfy. You new bit of stuff is firm, perfectly formed and unlikely to have had a good pounding.....takes a bit of getting used to! :)
