Hi guys so im in the market for another land rover and iv got my mondeo to part ex with...
Iv found 2 im interested in although very different from each other theyre both something i wanted for a while...
The first a disco 300tdi 4" lift 33" tyres that are 2 months old.. bonnet light pod basically all the off road bits..BUT no tax or test so could be a gamble as i may get it back and it fail on a lot of stuff..
Second one is a s reg range rover hse 4.6 with lpg kit..it looks in really nice condition.. however has a missfire and no certificate for log system he thinks its multipoint kit but not sure(took it in px)
Its got mot but no tax.
I like the idea of the range rovers comfort and refinement but also like the idea of owning another off roader... however id have to take some measure with the disco to make sure its safe ivernight(landys have a reputation of going walkies in my area.. happened to me already.. but the range rover may be very imoractical as i only do short trips 8 miles to work 9miles from work to gym then 7 miles from gym home.5 days a week so the range rover may be a bit too juicy on the short trips i do.. any advice rhat would sort my head out please guys..
I currently spend £25 a week on diesel in the mondeo. I know going to a 4x4 will be nowhere near that but i dont want soend double that a week id be happy putting £35-40 in...
Thanks
