Hi all, not at all electrically minded so please be nice

When i bought my 90 it came with...
-6 Britax 7" 12V 55W roof spots and
-2 Britax 9" 24V 70W front spots.

Non of them were wired into the van. I dont have any need for any of them so i'm going to stick them up for sale. However I need to check they're all working first.

My question is... Is there any way of checking they work without wiring them up properly to the 90 as i dont have the relays,cable and stuff needed?

Just touch the +ve wire from each spot to battery +ve and the earth wire to earth (any convenient clean lump of metal...engine, body etc) or battery -ve
