Hi,
<RANT>
Yes I know it's asking the impossible, but I've owned a Disco for the
past 3 years in which time the head gasket, cam belt, gearbox, clutch
and exhaust have all had to be relaced. It's cost me a bloody fortune.
I wish I'd bought a Japanese car really as I've always used Mazda
before with no problems whatsoever. Now the gear stick feels like I'm
pulling it through treacle when I try to change gear after 10 or so
miles and gets progressively stiffer. I want rid of this heap now.
</RANT>
The problem is that I know next to nothing about cars and have only an
M reg Disco to trade in and maybe 3000GBP to spend. Can anyone suggest
a reliable make and model of 4x4 (I pull a boat around occasionally so
I still need a 4x4) for that sort of money in the UK ? I could do with
lots of luggage space too (another thing the Disco hasn't got).
Sorry to sound so miserable, I get a bit wound up when I talk about
the Disco :-(
Cheers
Cheeseboy.
