I am rebuilding my 90 on a new chassis and I'm having great difficulty getting the loom back through the chassis. I have tried fishing through from front to back with hose-pipe, electrical trunking lid and electricians cable-rods but without success. They all seem to get stuck around the point where the rear shock mounts go through the chassis. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Thats what I'm doing too - outside upper frame. No hidden chaffing either.
I had thought about fixing it to the outside but fear for it getting damaged. I have previously had the fuel guage and reversing light wiring get snarled up in the prop-shaft and ripped out, so what is the best way of protecting it? Also, in the event of an electrical fire it would be somewhat more contained inside the chassis??
Use conduit - it protects the cable from chafing, water ingress and allows additional wiring to be added easily.

we used a length of copper brake pipe for mine, took a while though.
also curtain rod is good.

Finally managed to get it through. Used curtain rod with a large cable tie bent double and taped to the end to form a big loop. I started in the middle through a small hole already in the chassis behind the gearbox and pulled a draw wire through that way. Also, pulled a draw wire through with the loom when I put it back in, just in case I need to ever get anything else through there.
