Home charge for your Land Rover. Is this a direct debit scheme so JRR can empty your bank account regularly without waiting for you to breakdown? ;)
 
Have you inadvertently bought an electric P38 that needs charging each night?
 
Just had a quick look. Says you can charge your hybrid land rover overnight and enjoy a pollution free 41 mile commute. Bugger that what a bloody waste of time electric cars are. You could possibly go from Glasgow to Cornwall on holiday with all the family and take less than seven days each way pollution free. What a bloody joke.
 
There's some lovely scenery from Glasgow to Cornwall I've ur in no sort of hurry and u could always sit in every other services for an hr getting a boost to the old batteries
 
Oh and I've u have a costa coffee in each one the trip would probley be done for less than 200 quid

At what the motorway services will charge you for use of their electricity it would be cheaper to fly first class. :D
 
You no it not only that there Mabey 3 or 4 charge points so u may even have the pleasure of an extra wait for one to become available with the kids moaning about they want to go sounds like a great start to a little break
 
I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with a little leccy car for pottering around in, as long as it's dirt cheap so I can get a 4.2 V8 for the weekends :)
The problem with little leccy cars is they cost WAY too much

They cost about £7000. How long does a mobile phone battery last? 5 years? 7? So a £1k a year maintenance on batteries alone - unless you get shot. The cost in CO2 of mining, purifying and shipping to make the batteries and then return them to the car manufacturing country and then to where the car is sold must be significant, I'd have thought.
 
Think I’ll stay with mi oil burner, until at least Mr Scott can beam me from a to b, mind you with mi wagon playing up at the minute I’m having a few “beam me up Scotty” moments :rolleyes:
