Do you have tapered ends on your Nuts Ow err I hear you cry. Early alloy nuts had tapers that allowed you to fit the spare and or steels and will be fine for your offroad wheels. IF the nuts are the later flat type then no it would be dangerous to fit them

RRC nuts were not tapered as the spare was an alloy early disco nuts were tapered type so you could fit steels however it looks a bit gash!

aslong as they are all the same as that then you can use them on steels as the end that normally goes into the alloy is tapered to centre on the steel wheel holes which are also tapered.

running mine on disco steels at the mo while I sell my muds and using the old alloy nuts. will be getting steel nuts asap.
