Hello
I just had to change my speedo (on a Defender 130 300 Tdi 1997) and the new one is the mileage set at 0.0
It is nice but I would prefer having the correct mileage recorded.
Do you have any idea about how to "report" the old mileage onto the new speedo please ?

Is it a mechanical speedo? If so stick a drill on the drive from the gearbox and give it a whurl.

hmm
Assumin yer kin git yer drill to register 100mph on the speedo, it will only take yer 4 days to clock up 10,000 miles!
Doh!

well you can get about 20mph with your fingers, it doesnt turn that fast.

why not just make a note of the old reading and keep it with yer mot's and service records.
