On my disco 2 td5 whn i press the fob once the drivers door unlocks like normal, but when i press it again, the passenger doors unlocks as well as th boot. yet the two rear doors will not open. and as i have children i need the child locks on. so to open them i have to clime in the car to pen then which is not fun for a big guy ha ha.

any help as to whats wrong

if they lock normal just doesnt unlock then u have to replace the door latch actuators.........easy but not cheap.

ya every thing locks ok just when i comes to opening.

does the actuator need rplacing or is it some thing that can be repaird

Unfortunately is a fookin compact unit....if some easy unblocking manoeuvre like WD40 on the mechanism doesnt solve the problem then start googleing for the cheapest ones.
