Can anyone advise me on this minor Central Locking Fault, for some reason my Discovery 300 1997 has created this problem every time i wind the drivers side electric window down to about 1/4 of the way, the central locking locks the doors and sometimes opens them again it only happens with the drivers window and not the other passenger electric window. more annoying than a major problem but still if anyone could have an explanation to why this is happening i would be greatly thank full

No explanation but I would remove the drivers door card for a look-see as that's where the master CL actuator lives.

Chances are, the window mech is catching the actuator or the rod and pushing it down. Or a wire has come unfastened and it's catching on that. As discool says, pop the door card off and have a peek. The problem should be relatively obvious when you do.
