Hi I've got a problem with my cd changer on my d2 2001 it's a alpine unit I've got 3 cd's in the magazine it's been working fine then one evening I went to use the cd and "cd error" came up on the head unit so I tried to eject the magazine I heard the mechanism but it did not eject fully I can see the magazine but it will not eject
I've tried gently prising it out to no avail I've tried repeatedly pressing the eject button nothing
I've done a search and read several threads and tried different things I was going to. Remove the cd changer to try and take it apart but I can't get it out I've removed the 4 bolts from the brackets on the floor but can't lift it up high enough to get it off the threads because before it hits a cross member on the seat base !!
