Fellow Disco owners, I am looking for a bit of advice on CB radios. I know I want one, but know nothing about them so need steering in the right direction please.

Looking for a built-in to vehicle (with a bouncy aerial off my light bar!) rather than portable.

Unless specialist tools are needed, I can wire it up.
 
Where in the country are you? I found a bloke local to me in Dorset who did me mine with a mag mount (soon to be upgraded as it falls of as soon as I drive down a lane) and springy twig for fifty quid. It's a basic 2nd hand Kernow model, but reckon it's fine fer what I need.

I'm in the UK, quite close to Birmingham.
 
Antennas CB - Radioworld

If ever you get stuck for cb stuff these guys will help you down in the midlands there is loads of ham radio shops through the uk that will help too, i have used these guys before countless times there very good.
