They say one of the most useful inventions was the telephone (personaly I think the most useful would have been the 2nd telephone!). equally I have a single CB Radio
When I bought my Disco 2 it had a CB Radio fitted.
I don't know how to use it and as I don't know anyone else with one it doesn't really matter!!!!!
should I keep it or ebay it?
I've heard they are useful and that you don't need a licence to use one in the UK but how do you start?
the model I've got is a 'TEAM ME-4' 'UK version'

start by switching it on and talking. MAybe channel 19 will be best. Useful if yer go laning or PnP. cheeper than phoning evrytime yer get lost

A good start would be to switch on and set to channel 19, press the big button on the mic and say "1-9 for a rig check" and away you go.

If you go offroading they are invaluable so you can hear whats goin on with everyone else so i would keep it, there isnt usually anyone on them if your driving around normally unless there is a trucking place nearby as they use em

if the motorways are jammend up channel 19 comes to life then to let ya know

saved me in works van from a 4 hrs closure / jam 3 miles from home

i got off the junction before went back roads

channel 9 emergencys i beleave

keep it....had a good laugh eaves dropin to some hillbillys from cannock.
and it will come in handy off roading.

keep it its not hurting if u keep it
