hi all jusst found an old cb radio in the shed . can i just bolt the ariel to the roof or will i have to run it to earth.with the roof being ally ?what do you think

should be ok if you clean the paint back to bare metal , if the swr does'nt want to come in at a very low reading then run a earth to the chassis though

ok mate thanks for that just have to find somewhere to fit it now not a lot of dashbboard in these .thanks
