and the rooflining goes down into the trim to make the gape even smallerereri fink its a maplins jobby or 300 trim - maybe both

i put mine up against the centre console behind the leccy window switches and fed the wires through a hole i made under the rubber mat and along the center console, sits nice and flush and the mic can just sit on the mat, this is ofcourse if you dont have a cubby box.
I could fit mine behind the cubby box, as I have a couple of inches between that and the cab rear - but its a bugger to get to when driving.

yer but once yer on yer channel yer can leave the hand set further forward in the cab cant yer
sort of - thats where I had it in the Dibnah, but you still need to adjust it when on the move - volume, change channel, etc. Believe me its not that easy - and you tend to leave it on when you get out. Its wouldnt be the first time someone has left a CB on and flattened the battery.

yer wire it into an ignition live then dont yer
hee hee - yu tell that to half the peeps on here. I know of several that keep leavin the CB on .
