Has anyone got any pics of their CB radio in position on a Disco?
Pikey says fit it int middle under interior lite - but it fouls on the visors and the rear view mirror there. I am not sure it will fit above the sun visor either - so any pics of where yu put yours would be appreciated.
 
I'm 6'6" and found this position to be the best in both the Series and the Defender.

This is the mounting position that we used on Michelle's Series 3.

I regularly bash my head on the shelf.

get one that wasn't used by noah during the flood then. Most new CB's fit up there no problems yours must be as big as a house brick if it won't fit.
 
Thanks Pikey. One problem I can forsee is I am sure my trim isn't as thick as the one shown below. I will take a photo tonite and post it up her.

Fook knows it were only to give him an idea of how ta get it ta fit. Fook just noticed it's left hand drive as well better not look at it then MHM. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Move yer motion sensor thingy.cut the centre of the roof pod/light fitting out and fit it in the gap. Or get a 300 roof console and fit it like the one in the link. the only other place is to the side of the transmission tunnel but it'll get wet if yer go wading.
 
iz wider - will take unuvva pic of cb under the centre - yu will see wot i mean - i think a 300 trim is the answer and cut of the long roof section.
 
That'll fit just pull it back an inch or two till it clears the sun visors.
