Chaps

Just wondered what type of cb aerial people use for their setup on a freelander. I'm thinking of getting an aerial mount which attaches to the spare wheel. I was thinking of a springer but would this be able to hit the edge of the roof?

Not had a cb in a car before so unsure what to get.

Magnetic mount in the middle of the roof.

Easy to remove and keep out of the way of the vandals / snatchers.

To prevent scratches I have a circle of clear sticky plastic sheet stuck on the roof slightly bigger than the mag mount.

would go for the mag mount option, not a lot of users with CB these days, but good for laning and so on.

certainly not worth having it mounted all the time

Heres mine, really dont have any problems hitting window or roof, you'll be surprised how far away it is!
