Yes it can be used, I'm currently using their own brand 5W 30 which I found great during the cold snap, as th engine seemed to spin over a lot faster than it used to in the cold mornings, but it might just be my imagination.

it was there official oil at one time but i never thought it had high enough detergent as the engines compared to others were filthy inside even with regulr servicing
I dont want to hijack the thread, but what oil do you use James? I've a TD5 and I was going to use Morris Multivis 5W/30 at next change
