As above after wading at weekend wend to start land and starter wouldn't spin. Pull started the landy and it seems OK now?

yes and bugger wheel bearings ,diffs t/boxes etc

and most everything else, land rovers can wade but it doesnt mean they enjoy it.

Its like my cat, it can swim if it falls in the bath but it hates every second.......

It's not nice, imagine your all relaxed in your bath, cat jumps up and sits on the edge to keep you company. All well and good. Till said cat slips and falls in, then there instinct is to flail about like a drowning rat with as many pointy sharp things sticking out their body as possible.

I also once had a cat that liked to drink out the bog. He one day got up, got face first in the bowl, slipped got his feet wet which meant he couldn't grip the sides to get back out. Poor bastard could only just keep his face out the water, I had to yank his tail to get him out.

I knew he would be a nightmare when as a kitten he got his head stuck in a bean tin…… I can opened the end so he could see but couldn't get the can off due to the old skool 1980's tin opener jaggedy edges. we looked like idiots in the vets……
