you need to get onto the motor heritage museum at gaydon first and tell them yer chassis number to get a certification of build date for around £50
once you have this you can then get onto the dvla about the age related reg
but i must warn you the dvla are complete ****s with this subject and will take their sweet fekkin time about it all and throw all sorts of spanners in the works both at you and yer landy ( such as we need you to go for an IVA test to prove its a completed vehicle costing yet more hard earned money )

DVLA don't have the brain power to send a fookin log book out let alone an age related plate stupid welsh tw@ts

seriously theyre a bunch of idle thick bastard neanderthols at the dvla they will get vosa to do the legwork for them and either get you to take the vehicle for an iva test or if yer state it well enough vosa can send an inspector to you and he will write an inspection note stating it is what it is then you send the lot to the dvl....fukkin A ( bastards ) who have no other choice but to send you an age related reg number coz youve got them buttoned up evry wich way but loose

yer could say that yeah after near 7 months of to'ing and fro'ing with the fookers
to be honest the way the dvla drag their feet and make anything 100 times harder than it should be its no wonder people out there feel inclined to ring and clone the fekkin things

Also no matter how hard i look/scrape/wire brush i cant find the chassis number on the chassis itself, it is on a BL plate on bulkhead with some info along with a plate on the drivers seat box from the MoD so how can i get around this if they nwant to see it on the chassis itself.
