I'm ideally looking to have mine remapped. I have contacted 4 local companies and supplied them with the cars reg, engine number etc...

2 came back saying it couldn't be remapped would need chip change
1 said he'd give it a go!
1 said no problem can be mapped through the 16 pin diagnostics port

What's the crack???

Mine is a 99 2.5 DSE

Could do with knowing the definitive answer....

You cant remap a diesel p38. Wrong chip type.

Either tuning box or new chip.

As langley said, you cannot remap the Bosch EDC in the P38 and certainly not via the OBD port. It can have the chip replaced but the easy way is to fit a PSI Power box.
