Hi All,

Has anyone changed a camshaft bearing on a 2.25 petrol themselves at home? if so how did you do it and how did you ream it out. I have a front bearing shot which looks easy enough to do. The old one came out no bother no sure about pushing in the new one.

depends which bearings you get .at one time the ones with jigsaw type split were size when fitted ,straight split werent ,you really need a tool to fit them ensuring oil ways is aligned and fit square they are very easily damaged and easy to fit badly
