As with Land Rovers, go into your town centre and find your indepedent specialist. You should be giving these guys your $$$ and not Jessops OR the internet. Those folk dont know their F stops from their ISO

However this lens is not very popular - it's been recently released, and it's unlikely it will be found in 2nd hand stores. I said Currys don't have it, so that implies nor the PCworld. Internet stores like amazon - do, but I need to check lens myself before purchase. So the question is, are there any other photo stores, like Jessops. Thanks.

Yes, I have. Most of them do not keep most of the lenses in stock. Jessops can order it, - delivery time up to 28 days - sorry So I think - amazon will be the only reasonable option. They have them in stock here - and should be no problem with exchanging it in case something is wrong. Also provide local warranty. Thanks anyway.

I agree with not going anywhere near a Jessops, they are all staffed by lying satanists.
I have spent about £10 000 online with Warehouse Express, and never had a problem with them. They have a 7 day no questions return policy, so if it doesn't work/fit, just send it back.
If I need to go to an actual store I go to Park Camera's in West Sussex, huge store with knowledgeable staff, but maybe too far a drive from Bradford

I get most of my lenses and stuff from www.warehouseexpress.com, they are pretty good imo.
