Just bought a 2001 series 2 v8 petrol Disco with some service history but no indication of a cambelt change, anyone know cambelt change intervals ? It's done 122K miles and I think it should have had one and be due for another,

Does a v8 have a cambelt? I thought they were chain driven.

Chain driven single camshaft running on top in the middle of the 'V' if I'm not mistaken

Thanks, I think you're right, what threw me was that the service book has a tick box for ' cambelt changed' must be a cover-all service book.
