Convert it to drums, just done mine £65 for drums, shoes, cylinders, springs, flexi hose and brake pipes.

When you pushed the pistons out did ou give um a clean with some very fine emery cloth?
You shouldn't really do that, If they're damaged enough to need emery cloth then you aught to replace them. I'm not saying I've never done it when I've no alternative, but you know what it's like on here, we don't want another burning bush episode.

I know it's not the done thing Grunt but like you say we've all done it one time or another. I keep meaning to replace mine cause when it goes off road they tend to stick. I want to replace them with stainless stell ones if they exist, do you know if they do and where?

Paddocks do stainless ones think there 8quidish as ornery ones are 4quid. I reckon Teflon coated ones would be best Ive heard of em for other vehicles but not come across them for Landies.
