there's many reasons for this mine is it hadn't been used for some time i wire up a stereo first thought yeah Ive sound next thing it was sending smoke signals lol so quickly pulled fuse opened amp up lots of corrosion and the coil burnt out hence lots of smoke so decided to get rid here's what i could sus out from plans on the net

Hi just seen your post , I tried fitting a sony radio to my freelander on Saturday but when connected only right hand speakers worked, when I refitted original it was same, do you think I may have blown the harmon amp, if so can I bypass it like you according to your wiring connections, any help would be grateful
