Hi all car is getting a bit slow to start and a bit smoky so I have decided to renew the glow plugs also to clean out the inlet system as the last time I looked at it was caked in wads of thick greasy diesel. Any way that is besides the point the point is I needed new seals for the intake and I had a quick look on Fleabay and having brought them for the last car I thought thoses of Landrover spares north east formally freelanderspares were dear so I went up to the main steelers ,from Freelanderspare the square ones were £12.96 each with postage the ones from main steelers were £8.10p that a difference of £4.86 on each one that a difference of £19.44 on 4 so next time I look at ebay I will be checking out main dealers as well, I really can not call them steelers any more it does pay to shop around

I have found Island 4 x 4 to be very reasonable with next day delivery on stock items. Have used them for years and never had a problem with them. If you order over £50 worth (Excl. VAT) they do free next day shipping, otherwise it's a fiver.
Another good Company that I deal with when we are down in the Midlands is John Craddock at Cannock, West Midlands. They have a selection of manufacturers to choose from including genuine LR, if you want to take that route. Craddocks have been around for Donkeys Years and well known.
Living out here, in the sticks, the nearest Stealer is at Conway and that is another story !!!

My l series glow plugs are bearmach ones and cost me £12.50 for 4 altho only fitted 3 lol

yes I should have looked around a bit more but these are genuine LR and I am only about 25 miles from Craddocks

Have bought from Guy Salmon a few times and found them often cheaper than other eBay sellers, also genuine L/R parts.

no I did not think about them as they do not stock so many freelander parts
