I am looking to buy a Disco 4 as my next car. Upgrading from a people carrier. Want it to tow my caravan. I have been looking at the used around £30-£35k but keep getting drawn to a new one.

I wanted an xs, metallic, tow bar, reversing camera, tinted windows so all that list is £47k. What should I be able to get a dealer down to and what would the best finance option be for a £25k deposit?

Any views welcome.

Ps with a reversing ca,era, will the tow hitch assist work or is that just on the all round camera system.

Thanks

David

I think you may be asking the wrong forum to be honest mate. If i was spending that sort of money I'd be asking the dealer, on here peeps on here are welding their disco's etc to keep'em on the road :) good luck with it though.... you could of course but a good td5 or 300 tdi and keep 40 grand in the back. thats what I'd do

Don't think you will have much luck in knocking a dealer down, the production lines at Solihull are flat out trying to keep up with demand, even second hand cars at the dealers are selling fast as people dont want to wait for new so prices stay high

I don't believe there's much discounting to be had off new Discos at the present. At least so I'm told.

To really get the inside info on a Disco 3/4 log onto
"www.disco3.co.uk".
Excellent website and very helpful ,just like the guys on here.

Anyone spending £47k on a motor has mental health issues, especially when half of it is on tick!
