Hi all, My TD5's done the common trick of deciding not to open the drivers door with the keyfob. my question is I have an old boot door off the car (from when some lovely person decided to drive into the back of it!!) and was wondering will the locking mechanism out of the back door fit in the drivers door or are they different??

The drivers door lock is special as far as central locking goes as it is the master and controls the remaining doors.

I have the same problem, I can hear the switch activate but does not unlock. It will lock on the fob. I am hoping it is just the spring, if not a new lock:doh:

Disco two's don't have a spring issue so it's a replacement lock unfortunatly.
