Well chuffed just had a really good look around my Landies bulkhead (removed bits of the dash and had a good peek) and apart from some surface rust in the drivers footwell (caused by the previous numpty owner letting the clutch MC leak stripping the paint) it's virtually rust free!

Considering it's 22 years old and as far as I can tell the original bulkhead, I'm pretty impressed! Especially after seeing some of the horror stories on here! The chassis is REALLY good too, I've had a new rear x member fitted as it was a little crispy, but the rest is really good, no sign of any real rust!

Well happy! :D

Here's the passenger side of the bulkhead, little bit of surface rust on the very edge, but it's very minor and there's nothing engine bay side! And that's dirt not rust near the bottom.

Looks good! I'd sort those little bits of rust out just to make sure, it'd be a shame for it to start to go now!

Mines not good at all on the same pic view, its great in the engine bay / outside, but a long term leaking windscreen rubber as taken a toll!
Its now all water tight and about to cur out the crap bit and replace :)
Yep keep on top of it! looks good condition :)
