Yeah but towing a trailer it's abit slower ! Haha my mates coming toile too and he doesn't finish until 5 so we can't really leave any earlier

I'm normally in bicester. So a34 then across but my garage is in Northampton so I've added 40 miles to my trip before ive even started lol
Garage in Northants you say... what kind of garage... what's your specialism... I need a good garage in this area...
(or do you just mean storage garage?)

I'm travelling from Glasgow so will probably be there early standing about like a fanny because I'm always a bit too eager to set off.

It's 6 hours from Glasgow to Bath/Bristol on a clear run at 70ish mph and then 30-45 mins from Bath/Bristol to shepton mallet. (not including stoppages)

It's like a top gear challenge.
Trying to do it in one tank of fuel, it should be well within range as long as I don't get bored and put my foot down.

You'll need to beat 8 hours 15 mins in order to beat the time I did it in driving from where I bought my 300tdi defender from on the north side of Edinburgh to my home (about 8 miles north of shepton mallet). The engine had a buggered number 4 piston annorl although it did have a disco transfer box fitted to it.
