gettin new brake pads for me disco 300 how do i know whether to get
Disco 1 - front - with non vented discs to KA034313
or
Disco 1 - front - with non vented discs from KA034314
 
Vented discs look like two discs side by side with vanes between them. Solid discs are just that.

Whip a wheel off and have a peek.

Vin numbers are a good start, but more than once I have found vehicles that are not as they left the factory, as previous owners change things around.
 
so would i be rite to assume if mine ends in ta508612 i would need the second one, its the green stuff im looking at

well, when I learned the alphabet, T came after K, so yes.

but are you sure it's TA? seems too late for non-vented discs.

post yer complete VIN number (omit the last 4 digits if yer scared of cloning).
 
yup it's TA
if yer've deffo got solid discs, then it's the 2nd pads yer need.
