Hi everyone.
I have an issue! I have no brake lights on my tdci 90. I have checked the bulbs which are fine and the side lights are working fine, I have checked the fuse and that is fine. Any ideas other than using a multi meter which I don't have right now as I have been away and am just heading back home.
Any ideas are much appreciated

Take a look at the stop light switch, a wire may have come off or the switch may have broken I believe it is a mechanical type so not coupled to the hydraulics.

mrs vils brake lights on her 90 were not working, i checked everything and couldnt sort it. Then simply pulling the plugs and giving them a good clean had it working again

Disconnected these, visually inspected and cleaned the contacts and still nothing.

Very hard to tell over the tinterWeb. Try shorting those 2 wires together. That will tell you if it's the switch

Really? Just a bit of wire between the two?

Yes, that's all the switch effectively does when you press the pedal

Time to get the meter out and see if you have 12v present on one of the switch connectors, if you still don't have it available a bulb and wire may work
