i use coppaslip, just so it don't burn off when the discs overheat

When Adz bought his defender - after he got it home and checked it - he discovered that the front pads were down to the metal - and the previous owner had copperslipped the disks to stop them squeeling!

my next door neighbour,a paddy by the way,had an old 240 volvo.was a right hand painted shed,i was walking past one day on me way to the pub and i asked him what he was doing,his reply was that he was oiling the brake pads cos they were making a slight rubbing sound.he had the oil can and was liberally oiling the discs and pads.:doh::doh:
