Just in case you missed it you blind / stupid tw@t -

"Testers are not permitted to dismantle any item during an MOT Test.."

ffs

From the oh!facial VOSA tester's manwell

"Testers are not permitted to dismantle any item during an MOT Test, hence if the amount of wear on brake shoes, for example, cannot be determined by direct observation because they are enclosed by the brake drum, then provided the braking efficiency is to the required standard then they will not result in a failure."

...so you rely on the mot for your brakes then trew....nice one.

every mot ive ever been to ive had my drums and discs measured.I guess were more vigiliant here.:confused:

where did I say that? you're making things up again.

unlike you, I'm capable of measuring my own brakes thanks, and I do so every time I service it - about every 6 months or 3000 miles.
I have verniers, a micrometer and a DTI and I know how to use them. You, on the other hand, would probably struggle with a tape measure.

this is the same BOB who reckons if you put a door off another vehicle or a set of wheels from another vehicle that makes the vehicle they have been fitted to a ringer and not fit to be on the road :)

bob your out numberd, dick head :)

Never before has such a small screw caused such debate.....

more blind stupidity from you again,

I refer to LRO international issue 1 2009 page 32.

Phillip herberts 500 000 mile ringer was the base of my argument. That vehicle would not be tested where i go and would probably be impounded.

I have a sweet wagon thats legal and not put together by a numpty in a tent.

on a car of mine the mot tester couldnt even check the front pads cos he couldnt see and couldnt remove the wheel
