Hi,

I need to get a new passenger side front brake caliper for my discovery 1 300tdi 1994, 3 door, non vented discs, problem I'm having is every time I order one from shop or internet the one that is sent has twin brake pipes going into the caliper and mine only has 1. Anyone know the part number for the caliper with the single brake pipe in please.

one hole is for the brake pipe, the other is for the bleed nipple.

yes mine has 1 bleed nipple and 1 brake pipe connection as you said and that's the 1 i need but, the ones i keep receiving has 2 bleed nipples and 2 brake pipes in.

I think youre getting early 200 tdi calipers mate according to the haines manual there were two types ;)

some of the early 300 came with an odd mix of new and old 200 type parts, but this is the other way round (if you see what I mean)...are you quoting your VIN No when ordering? If you look at paddocks website you should be able to just pick the later type even if your VIN is giving the wrong ones.....

Yes as ChipV8 says......after a while LR standised on the single pipe caliper. The early Disco had the twin circuit system seen on RRC up the same age.
