Hi all, just wondering if anyone has or knows of somewhere I can get a locking mechanism for the storage box in the boot. I have a 2003 td4 and the mechanism on mine is broken so it won't shut properly and makes a racket when driving.

My locking mechanism broke some time ago, so I removed it.
I did try to fix it it but it didn't last long.

I don't have any problems with the lid being noisy.

If you really want one, then perhaps a scrap yard?

How about a sliding 'snib' lock you use on toilet doors?

Is that like this one we had on the toilet door on the holiday home we rented in Feb?

Forget this post!! I just went out to have a look at it again and my Mrs has put the dogs leads in there so they were clanking about. Taken them out and hey presto no noise. Thanks any guys for the suggestions
