Dummy Ejection Facilitator..
You drill an hole in the top sheet (the floor) but not the lower sheet (the support) Then you create a PUDDLE of weld in the hole. this then welds the 2 halves together Hence the term puddle welding. Yu fick ****ing porridge wog.

Er.. thanks for the constructive and colourful comments.
I know the sides/arches etc are good because I have removed every single peice of trim/carpet/seats from the back half of the landy to get a good look.. and the rust holes are all situated on the center of the floor panel.. admittedly there are some big holes which almost go from side to side.
I've just spoken to my friend wih regards to how he was thinking of welding the panels and he suggested drilling holes and "puddle" welding the panel in.. so I'm gussing thats how it will go.
Only thing that still confuses me is the extra support peices.. Are there two or four? And how do they mount/weld to the side peices?

Now i know this is either a windup or you dont know what your talking about, Forehand welding is simply the direction of weld.
