Hi, I am planning to mount my fuel filter and expansion bottle on my wing but as it is all in pieces I don't know if my original (1988) wing bracket and bonnet prop will be suitable.
Is there a different prop on 300Tdi with filter and bottle on wing?

Or use the solid prop meant for bonnets with tyres as it locates to the slam panel so goes nowhere near the wing area

Any chance of a photo? I see there is one on eBay but don't know what else I would need to fit it.

Surely the 300TDi prop is fixed to the bonnet and when stored fits into a clip on the underside of the bonnet frame (see photos one & two)???

When I removed my old bonnet and fitted a new Puma one last year I had to buy the later prop & brackets and it is with these that the new prop folds across in-line with the radiator frame (see photos three, four & five). I stand to be corrected but is this not the set-up since the TD5?
Note:- I disliked the standard plastic-clip that secures the prop in the folded position and replaced it with one off a Freelander, seems to do the job much better.

I have run into issue with the latch (later latch, early bonnet) so while searching I found the strut lift kit and will be fitting one of those.
Nice engine bay.
