Why not ? They been using it on fish tanks for years .

Fish tanks don't have to survive; bright sunshine, UV radiation, freezing temperatures, salt, pressure washers, detergent, vibration and still hold up in a collision long enough to try to save your life.

Not only that, the glass is held in place by water pressure in a fish tank, the silicone is just a conformal seal. On a car side window air pressure is trying to suck it out:eek:

.the guy got it out in one go, used a long Stanley blade, too about 30 mins he says he was tempted to rush but took his time. now i have to clean up the broken one and then buy the sealant to bond it, i have seen some good kit on eBay for around 6 - 8 quid, i believe it has to be spotless before i replace the glass. thanks guys, any help regarding the power loss and smoke from exhausts. (rings or leaking valve seat) ill post a video when i collect it . he was told it had low compression on cylinder 3 :)
