Tig9619 Active Member Nov 21, 2009 #2 i went a step further and fitted a 1990 M5 straight six to my 90! but made a plate to fit a manual. auto is the easy option as all 80's bmw sixes will bolt straight to a zf auto box with the right bellhousing!
