Hi,

I have the first ever P38 BMW fitted 2.5 diesel. What heritage does this hold. do I run it ragged as Landys should be or treat it with Kid gloves? I have all the log sheet from the engineers testing it

I hoping to try and sell it to a heritagemuseum or something. I've been told that its worth about £15k.

It got ragged this weekend with all the snow.

Unfortunately, facts have it that before the introduction of that engine, land rovers had been enjoying some reliability in the engine bay with the introduction of the 200/300tdi. Anyway, I believe it was that very same BMW engine that initially had some people running for the hills with its 'revolutionary' new flywheel and all the good that came to do... I would advise you keep the car as your personal claim to fame.

Well if you can get 15grand for it then sell it, honestly cant see it reachin anything like that myself but if thats what you been told then it must be worth it
