I'v blown my front CV joint at the weekend on my classic range rover and was wondering if you can get heavy duty ones and what else is on the market to take the most pain???

had ashcroft cvs on me bobtail rr.

cost the same as a small desert island tho

its not that big a job to replace...id get a used one...

waste of time and effort

did mine 12 months ago with bits from paddocks.... it wernt expensive ..... whole kit of bits , cv, seals and wheel bearings was less than fifty quid delivered in less than a week over the xmas period

taint worth the aggro of sourcing a used bit, that might only last 5 minutes.... unless youve actually got one sat out the back .

each to his own.....i like used...if available...just the cvjoint...alll seals,gaskets and bearings new....fortunatly most readdly available....
