My Td5 has a issue regarding the heater. After a couple of mins of driving the heater warms up nicely but if I park & leave the engine running the heater gets cooler & cooler until its just blowing cold air. If I drive off it will warm up again:confused:
It doesnt matter if Iv driven 10 or 50 miles it does the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks Ian

It's normal. TD5 engines do run cool especially on tickover. Get yourself a rad muff to restrict air flow in the winter

Take the viscous fan off for the winter and/or fit a leccy one.
The heater matrix is enough to cool the TD5 at idle.
