Hi all, hope you can help

Tried to open the rear door (TD4 5 door)
window droped an inch but door won't open
the door catch is fully depressed and will not pop out

Have got the window up again using the switch in side the car
btw the window will not drop using the fob!

central locking seams to work ok on the other doors
checked the fuze 20A (f 31) all ok

is there a diy fix for this

if not i live in Hampshire anybody able to fix this prob
i would like to here from you

i am sure this has been written about before - try and do a search.

if not Keith Gotts or SVC(I think). I will check tomoz.

try . . . .dissconect battery poss or earth fer 12 secs [make sure yer got your radio code] when you reconect somtimes the window go's down [rear one] drive it fully up if this happens. . .with the fob [and all doors shut and windows up] lock. . .wait 4secs. . .unlock ,do this three times ,then try yer rear bit if it still refuses to open,could be the door solinoid has gone tits,that has bin documented in search. . .ope this elp yer earthling

Well i be damned the wife got it open

It seams the lock/handle was jammed in and she was fiddleing with it and it poped out she then opened her up.

So it all operates but the lock/handle doesnt feel right
the window now drops on the fob as well

ill have a look at a later date, and post back the fix

any help appreciated

give it spray wiff wd40 un let it soak overnight ,it might jist be sticktion. . . .

Thanks mate

Already gave it a spray
but looking at it with a torch i can see a small spring ? on the left

also it looks a bit ****ed
so think all is not well

ill get back on here soon and tell all
