Just started using my landy on a regular basis and have noticed that when I change gear and then lift the clutch there is a quite a loud clunk I was just wondering if this is something bad it doesn't happen if I lift the clutch very carefully

Loads of things can cause a clunk on up-take of drive.

Prop UJs
Bushes
Rear A-frame balljoint
Worn gearbox mainshaft

Are just a few common ones.

As above with the addition of worn splines on propshaft. (as I have now found out to my cost)

Same on mine, and ive narrowed it down to gearbox, sadly

I had the same loud clunk upon take up of drive. Overhauled the gearbox and transfer box and clunk has gone. Try the prop uj's first then prop, if still there id say it was the main shaft. When mine was on the floor, the play was evident.
