So I have now been running the long anticipated freelander for 2 weeks and I have noticed a "creak" coming off the back end. This sounds to be coming from the rear passenger side. It only happens (not all the time) when in slow reverse, in slow first gear and slowly turning left or right at junctions. Again it's jot every single time but I would probable estimate 3 times out of 4.
Now what does it sound like......well you know that sound when you park on a hill and go to get out the car and your car makes that creaking noise, well that's the best way to describe it. Obviously when I'm driving the handbrake isn't on and I'm a good girl. When the car gets parked at home, I'm on a gentle slope down so it's reverse gear and wheels turned into kerb and no handbrake on - hah my dad taught me well lol.
Any ideas from you knowledgable peeps as to what might be causing it?
Thanks in advance
Sharon
